GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

BOUNDARIES

To the North and Northeast with Honduras, approximately 365 kilometers from the Trifinio hill of Montecristo, until the outlet of the Goascorán River.

To the West with Guatemala, 203 Kilometers from the outlet of the Paz River, until Trifinio Hill of Montecristo.

To the South with the Pacific Ocean, from the outlet of the Paz River, until the outlet of the Goascorán River, approximately about 321 kilometers and to the Southeast with the Gulf of Fonseca that separates it from Nicaragua.
